ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth: Claimed his first European Tour title with a 3-and-2 victory over Adrian Otaegui. Became the first player from New Zealand to win on the European Tour since Danny Lee won the Johnnie Walker Classic as an amateur in 2009.
2016 Season
Five starts on the European Tour.

Olympic Men's Golf Competition: Represented New Zealand when golf returned to the Olympics for the first time since 1904 in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Finished T39 in 60-player field.

Madeira Islands Open: Had a 10th-place finish at the Madeira Islands Open in August, thanks to final-round, seven-under 65.

NZ Open: Continued his strong play in early March, at the New Zealand Open. Began the Queensland tournament with a 2-under 70 then reeled off three consecutive 69s to T6 with Terry Pilkadaris.

Queensland PGA Championship: Finished second at the Queensland PGA Championship. Was one of three players to shoot a first-round 61 (Anthony Summers and David Brandson) at City GC in Toowoomba, Australia. Came back with a 67-64-67 showing over his final 54 holes to place second to Summers.

John Hughes Geely Nexus Risk Services WA Open Championship: Won the Western Australia Open Championship in mid-October. Shot four rounds in the 60s to capture the title in runaway fashion over Steve Dartnall, winning by six shots.
