  • Heiwa PGM Championship: Won the Heiwa PGM Championship for his third Japan Golf Tour title this season, shooting 6-under 278 with rounds of 67-70-72-69. Victory moved him from No. 104 to No. 72 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
  • Shigeo Nagashima Invitational Sega Sammy Cup: Won the Shigeo Nagashima Invitational Sega Sammy Cup, his second title of the season on the Japan Golf Tour, after a closing 66 for a 270 total to move from No. 276 to 163 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
  • Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open: Fired a final-round 4-under 68 to win the Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open and qualify for the The Open Championship. Offset a lone bogey with five birdies at the Setonakai Golf Club to finish on a 15-under 273, five strokes ahead of Michael Hendry of New Zealand (68). Victory capped an eventful week, as he also secured a place in the U.S. Open the following Monday in another qualifying tournament in Japan.
