Brian Campbell captured his first PGA TOUR title dramatically, winning in a sudden-death playoff against Emiliano Grillo at the 18th hole. Campbell and Grillo finished regulation tied at 18-under after both players shot matching rounds throughout the week, including identical 4-under final rounds. Campbell secured victory on the first playoff hole after Grillo was unable to match his par.

The 54-hole leader converted to victory in 10 of 25 individual stroke-play events that season, and Campbell's playoff victory continued that trend.
