- Favorite college team is LSU, and favorite pro team is the New Orleans Saints.
- Earned all-state honors in basketball twice and was invited to the Louisiana All-Star game (didn't play due to injury). Baton Rouge's The Advocate named him its High School Athlete of the Year as a junior in 2006. Averaged 21.6 points per game during his senior season and holds Episcopal High School's all-time record for three-pointers in a season.

2020 Season
Played the inaugural LOCALiQ Series, appearing in one tournaments and making one cut. Finished the season 152nd on the points list.
2017 Season
Made 21 PGA TOUR starts in 2017 before playing in the Korn Ferry Tour Finals. Made the cut in two of four events. Finished at No. 25o in the Finals.

Shell Houston Open: On the heels of seven straight missed cuts, posted rounds of 68-70-72-69 to T10 at the Shell Houston Open. Marked his first top-10 on the PGA TOUR since at T4 at the 2016 Wells Fargo Championship, a span of 20 starts.
2016 Season
Advanced to the FedExCup Playoffs for the first time in his career, but a missed cut at The Barclays ended his season at No. 113 in the standings. Season included career-best numbers with 11 made cuts, four top-10s and six top-25s.

John Deere Classic: Opened with a 64 in his next event, the John Deere Classic, en route to a T16 finish, his first made cut in in his last eight starts.

Travelers Championship: Held the first-round lead at the Travelers Championship after opening with a 6-under 64. Posted a 76 in the second round to miss the cut.

Wells Fargo Championship: Held the first- (co-lead) and second- (solo) round leads at the Wells Fargo Championship before a 2-over 74 in the third round moved him three shots back of Rickie Fowler's 54-hole lead. Closed with a 1-under 71 at Quail Hollow to secure a T4 finish alongside Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler.

CareerBuilder Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation: Shot 66-66-67-68 to finish T3 at 21-under at the CareerBuilder Challenge for his best showing on the PGA TOUR. He was the only player in the top five to make a double bogey, posting two, one each in rounds two and three. Ranked third in driving distance for the week with 310.6 yards.

Sanderson Farms Championship: Finished T10 at the Sanderson Farms Championship in a Monday finish due to weather.

Frys.com Open: Birdied his first five holes and four of his last five in the third round of the Frys.com Open en route to a 9-under 63, his career-low score in relation to par. Struggled Sunday, recording a 2-over 74 to finish T10 with six others at 11-under 277 in the season's first event.
2015 Season
Made the cut in five of 15 PGA TOUR starts, with lone top-10 of the season (T6) coming at the Barbasol Championship in Alabama on the RTJ Golf Trail. Went on to finish the season No. 198 in the FedExCup standings. Opened the Korn Ferry Tour Finals with T22 and T53 finishes in Fort Wayne and Charlotte. Then earned his first career Tour win at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship, the penultimate event in the Korn Ferry Tour Finals. Played five Korn Ferry Tour Regular Season events, making three cuts which resulted in finishes of T14, T22 and T23.

Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship: Opened with an even-par 71 and was four back after the first round. Maintained pace with the leaders after a second-round 70. Fired 68 on Saturday, birdieing the final two holes to pull within three of Roberto Castro. On Sunday, made three birdies and three bogeys going out. Took the outright lead with a birdie at No. 14. Finished the tournament at 5-under 279, good for a two-stroke victory. His 279 was the highest score of the year (both aggregate and relative to par). Moved up to No. 3 in the Finals standings with one event to go after collecting a $180,000 first-place check.
2014 Season
Rookie season defined by 10 made cuts in 22 starts, three of which resulted in top-25 finishes. Closed the season ranked 137th in the FedExCup standings.

Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship: Attempted to regain exempt status on the PGA TOUR via the Korn Ferry Tour Finals but was unable to gain momentum from a T14 finish at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship, missing the cut in the season-ending Web.com Tour Championship.

Valero Texas Open: Held the first-round Valero Texas Open lead, with a 5-under 67. Ensuing rounds of 70-70-75 resulted in a T4 with Matt Kuchar. Overcame a 4-over 40 on the outward nine Sunday, with a 1-under 35 to claim his first career top-10 finish.

AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am: After missing the cut in his first five starts of the season, fired a bogey-free, 8-under 63 at Monterey Peninsula CC in the first round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Ensuing rounds of 73-76-73 resulted in T27 honors.
2013 Season
Finished the season making 13 cuts in 25 starts, highlighted by two top-10s, which included a dramatic run in the season's finale. Led the Tour in Total Eagles, with 17.

Web.com Tour Championship: Missed the first three cuts in the Finals only to snare a T6 at the season-ending Web.com Tour Championship to leap from T116 in the priority ranking at the beginning of the week to 32nd, punching his ticket to the 2013-14 PGA TOUR.

Cox Classic Presented by Lexus of Omaha: Was 86th in earnings entering the final Regular Season event, the Cox Classic, where he opened with rounds of 63-68-67-72 to move to 70th and into the Finals.

South Georgia Classic Presented by First State Bank and Trust Company: Posted four sub-par scores at the South Georgia Classic, where he finished T5 to earn his first career top-10.

Panama Claro Championship: Fired a 6-under 64 in the first round of the Panama Claro Championship and grabbed a share of the lead to begin the year. Rounds of 74-77 the next two days dropped him down the list to a T56 finish.
2012 Season
Made the cut in two of four Korn Ferry Tour starts and had a T13 finish at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, where he was a Monday qualifier. Qualified for the WNB Golf Classic and the Neediest Kids Championship.
2011 Season
Made two cuts in three starts on the Korn Ferry Tour and had a pair of top-25 finishes.

Amateur Highlights
- Was a two-time All-American at LSU, was named to the All-SEC team as a freshman and was on the All-SEC Honor Roll all four years at LSU.
- Won two individual state championships at Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge.
