Note: ESPN+ will be the exclusive, direct-to-consumer home of PGA TOUR LIVE as part of the PGA TOUR’s new, nine-year domestic rights agreement announced in 2020. PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+ will launch in 2022, delivering to golf fans more than 4,300 hours of live coverage from 35 tournaments a year, including a full four days of coverage at 28 events with four simultaneous live feeds each day. Q: Where can I watch PGA TOUR LIVE coverage?
A: PGA TOUR LIVE is available through ESPN+ starting January 2022. This service provides the same live Featured Group and Featured Hole content fans love and more. In addition to video-on-demand clips and full event replays, we’ve also added 3 additional live feeds and 4,300+ hours of coverage on ESPN+.
Q: What is ESPN+?
A: ESPN+ is an over-the-top subscription video streaming service available in the United States, owned by Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution.
Q: Where do I purchase PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+?
A: Beginning in 2022, users can access PGA TOUR LIVE via web or in-app purchase. Download the ESPN+ App from the Apple or Google Play store or purchase online by visiting this page to create your account.
Q: What platforms will PGA TOUR LIVE be available on with ESPN+?
A: In addition to web (plus.espn.com), you can use the following connected devices to stream live, rewind, or replay on up to 3 connected devices at once: Roku, FireTV (Fire TV, Fire Tablet), Xfinity (Xfinity Flex, Xfinity X1), Samsung Smart TV, Xbox (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S), PlayStation (4 and 5), Apple (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV), Android (Android Phone, TV, Tablet), Google Chromecast, Facebook (Portal TV, Oculus Go).
Q: How much does PGA TOUR LIVE cost?
A: PGA TOUR LIVE is available within the base ESPN+ subscription, which is currently available as part of a monthly subscription for $6.99/month, or an annual pass for $69.99. There is no additional subscription required to view PGA TOUR LIVE content.
Q: When will coverage on ESPN+ start? What tournaments are you covering?
A: PGA TOUR LIVE will cover 35 events in the 2022 calendar year, beginning at Sentry Tournament of Champions (Jan 6-9, 2022). This excludes the majors (The Masters, U.S. Open, The Open Championship, PGA Championship), alternate-field and team events.
Q: What will coverage look like across the 4 feeds offered on ESPN+?
A: The four feeds that will be streamed on PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+ include:
• Main Feed: The best action from across the course.
• Featured Holes: Exclusive coverage of a combination of par-3’s and iconic or signature holes.
• Marquee Group: Every shot from a highlighted group of the day.
• Featured Groups: Simultaneous coverage of two other groups of players.
Q: What coverage will be available during the morning and afternoon for PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+?
A:Morning Coverage (before the TV window):
• Main Feed – Primary coverage, showcasing the best action around the course and across the player field
• Marquee Group – every shot from each player in one group (intended to be the “A” group)
• Featured Groups – shots from each player in two (2) groups, shown concurrently
• Featured Holes – coverage of every Par 3 hole on the course and/or iconic holes
Afternoon Coverage (during the TV window):
• Featured Group 1 – every shot from each player in one group
• Featured Group 2 – every shot from each player in one group (different group than FG #1)
• Featured Hole 1 – every shot on one hole
• Featured Hole 2 – every shot on one hole (different hole than FH #1)
Q: Does my ESPN+ subscription include other live sports?
A: Yes, ESPN+ will include access to all live sports available as part of their base subscription. Please note that this does not include pay-per-view events (UFC).
