Led after the first round at the tournament at Callaway Gardens, shooting an opening 65. Fired a 70-66 over his next 36 holes, highlighted by a hole-in-one on the par-3 seventh. Struggled in the last round. On the 72nd hole, faced a 15-footer for birdie. A two-putt par from there would have kept him at 8-under and in a three-way T3. Instead, rolled his birdie putt five feet past the hole and then missed the comebacker for par, putting him into overtime. Birdied the fourth extra hole to secure the final exempt spot for the Mackenzie Tour’s first half.

Was in contention through 54 holes but shot a closing, 1-over 73 at Jennings Mill CC in late-June to fall into a T10 with four others.
