Is a fourth-generation college athlete. Great-grandfather played football at Michigan State, grandfather played baseball at Yale, father ran cross-country at Wake Forest. His brother also played college golf at William & Mary.
Best golf memory as a fan is as an eighth-grader watching Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson paired together at the 2009 Masters.
Always marks his ball with a quarter tail's side up.
Only had one college scholarship offer, to William & Mary. “That sticks with me and is always one of my motivating factors to show that I’m better than that.”
Amateur Highlights
Was the 2013 Southwestern Conference 4A Player of the Year and a three-time all-conference selection in high school.
Set the freshman scoring average record at William and Mary and holds the career-low-round record in school history. Won one college tournament, the 2017 Invitational at Savannah Harbor in Georgia.
