Patton Kizzire breaks through for his first win at OHL Classic
Patton Kizzire became the latest PGA TOUR champion to find the winner's circle with a split set of irons. Kizzie, who shot 66-67 on Sunday after weather forced players to go 36 holes, currently has a Titleist iron setup that consists of 718 T-MB (4-iron), CB (5-6) and MB (7-PW).
Kizzire gave himself numerous birdie opportunities during the final round, hitting 77.7 percent (14 of 18) of the greens in regulation at El Camaleón Mayakoba Golf Course en route to his first TOUR title.
Last season, Kizzire ranked 147th on TOUR in greens in regulation percentage. He was firmly inside the top-10 (T7) in the statistical category during his victory at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.
