- Father is Russ Cochran, who has more than 800 starts combined on the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions, including six wins–the 2011 Senior Open Championship the centerpiece.
- Favorite golf memory was traveling to see his dad's tournaments.
- His cousin, Rick Cochran III, plays on the Korn Ferry Tour.
- Family is golf-centered. His brother, Ryan, caddies for current PGA TOUR Champions player Kenny Perry, while his other brother Reed, caddies for his dad.
- Was a standout basketball player in high school.
- The Chicago Cubs and the Dallas Stars are his favorite professional teams.
- Merion, Pebble Beach and Carnoustie are his favorite courses where he has been able to play.
- Would like to trade places for a day with any rock star: "It would be a pretty exhilarating experience on stage," he says.
- Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Lee Trevino would round out his dream foursome.
- Made a hole-in-one at the 2014 Byron Nelson Monday qualifier on the fifth playoff hole to gain that led to his entrance into his first PGA TOUR event.
- Top off-the-course highlight was marrying his wife, Ashton.

2019 Season

Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada Q-School-Central: After three consecutive under-par rounds, played his way into second place at Q-School with a steady, final-round 73 in the final grouping of the day.
2017 Season
Struggled to find the same tournament form as a year prior, making four cuts in 14 events to finish the season 128th on the PGA TOUR Latinoamerica Order of Merit.
2016 Season
Had his best season as a professional, playing full time on PGA TOUR Latinoamerica. Had two runner-up finishes and added five more top-25 finishes throughout the season to finish 24th on the Order of Merit.

Copa Diners Club International: Shot four rounds in the 60s in Ecuador, including a final-round 66 to finish T2 with Ryan Ruffels, two shots behind winner Nate Lashley.

85 Abierto OSDE del Centro presentado por FiberCorp: Was one of six players to T2 in Cordoba, finishing four shots behind winner Anthony Paolucci. After a third-round 75, came back with a final-round 68.
Amateur Highlights
- Was a member of the 2009 NCAA Championship Texas A&M team.
- Won the 2005 and 2006 Kentucky high school state championship.
