• At 4 years old, his dad gave him a cutoff wooden driver with black electrical tape as grip which he used to hit balls over the creek at his home course.
• Biggest thrills in golf are winning the Virginia state open three straight years 2012-2014 and winning the Big Break Invitational in 2014 at Reynolds Plantation.
• Entrance song on the first tee would be "Ramblin Man"by the Allman Brothers.
• His cousin, Mikey Moyers, plays on the Korn Ferry Tour.
• In 2011, he spent half of his time teaching physical education at a high school.
• Not many people know that he can still dunk and was going to major in art at JMU.
• Favorite quote is "luck is where preparation meets opportunity".
• Always marks his ball with the coin heads up and his lucky number is 13.
• Would love to switch places with the President of the United States and learn about what goes on behind the scenes.
• Went to 1996 Masters Tournament with his father and followed Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer during Wednesday's practice round.
• Met Jerry Rice and Mark Rypien through his experience with the Big Break.
• Was an all state quarterback and defensive back in 1999 at Powhatan HS.
• Played football, golf, basketball and ran track in high school.
• His high school team won the Virginia State Championship in football in 1996 and was runner-up in 1997.
