Did not play high school golf, instead focusing on baseball and soccer.

Captured the 2021 Silver State Amateur, part of the Troon Saguaro Amateur Series. Defeated Hong Kong’s Yin Ho Yue by three shots.

Began his college career at Creighton University before transferring to Orange Coast College. Eventually transferred again, to Cal State-Chico.
