Played football in high school.
Brother Jeff played professional baseball for the Colorado Rockies.
Drove a tractor and picked cantaloupes on his uncle's farm from ages seven through 12.
Had surgery on his elbow when he was 12, and baseball became difficult for him to play after that because it hurt to throw. Wanted to be a professional baseball player like his brother, but switched to golf because of the injury.
Earliest golf memory was his brother playing in South Carolina, where he hit his ball into a little peninsula by the lake. Went to get the ball for his brother, and an alligator jumped out at him. His mom hit the alligator with a golf club to save the day.
Best golf memory as a fan was watching Rory McIlroy win in the dark at Valhalla in 2014.
Always keeps his pencil in his left packet and doesn't write down the score from a previous hole until he's teed off on the next hole.
Is involved in the charity Isaiah 1:17 House in Vincennes, Indiana, a transitional home for foster children.
