Amateur Highlights

Had a tremendous run to the finish of his junior year at SDSU, finishing runner-up twice in a row before winning two events prior to playing in the NCAA Championship. After finishing runner-up at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic and the Western Intercollegiate (falling in a three person playoff with Carson Lundell to Joe Highsmith), won the Mountain West Conference Championship in Tucson, Arizona, prevailing in a playoff over Hugo Townsend, Jack Trent and Sam Choi after the quartet was tied at 7-under at the end of regulation. Went on to win the NCAA Tennessee Regional. Defeated Tyson Reeder by a shot, thanks to back-to-back 67s to close the tournament.

Won his first college tournament, the 2019 Bayonet Amateur in Monterey, California. At Bayonet GC, rolled past Nicklaus Rivera and Andrew Gibson by four shots. Added the 2019 Bill Cullum Invitational title, cruising to a five-shot triumph over Clay Feagler, Leon D’Souza and Trevor Lampson.

Earned a spot on the 2021 Palmer Cup International team. Went 1-2-1 in his four matches.

Finished 12th on the final PGA TOUR University rankings, earning him 2021 PGA TOUR Canada membership. He declined the opportunity, electing to remain an amateur and stay in school.

Was a two-time All-West Region selection, in 2020 and 2021.

Was the 2020 Mountain West Conference Golfer of the year and a four-time All-Mountain West Conference first-team selection.
