Says he owes his golf career to his mother, who "sacrificed everything countless times so I could succeed."
Always marks his ball with an 1878 silver dollar given to him by his father. Says he can't play golf without it.
Mother was a two-sport Division I athlete (ski racing and tennis) at St. Lawrence University. His sister followed in Mom’s footsteps, also ski racing for St. Lawrence.
A fractured spine sidelined him from both golf and skiing during his junior and senior years of high school.
Was a competitive skier growing up in Lake Placid, New York. Was the 2008 Eastern Regional champion in slopestyle and aerials.
Amateur Highlights
Began his career at Lafayette College (2014-16) then transferred to Charleston Southern.
Won two college tournaments while at Lafayette (2014 Bucknell Invitational and 2015 LaSalle Invitational) and added an additional title at Charleston Southern (2017 East Bay Deli Classic).
Was the Lafayette team MVP in 2015 and 2016. Was the Charleston Southern team MVP in 2018.
