His uncle got him into the game at age two. He built his nephew clubs and taught him everything he knew until he got to college.

Tries to do the same thing on every hole if he's playing well. Says if he took a drink of water before he hit a good shot, he'll do that every time until it stops "working."

Didn't start playing college golf until he was in his senior year.

Walked on the Coastal Carolina golf team his senior year and earned Sun Belt Conference Newcomer of the Year honors.

Won the 2020 General Hackler Championship at The Dunes Club in Myrtle Beach. Held a four-stroke lead with 18 holes to play and ended up winning by two, becoming only the second Chanticleer golfer to win this event—joining Andrew Dorn.

Was named Ping All-Region in 2019 and 2020.
