Has previously served as an assistant pro at Arrowhead CC in Glendale, Arizona, and was a club fitter at three different PGA TOUR Superstores, in Glendale, Palm Desert, California, and Kennesaw, Georgia.

Began his junior college career at the College of the Desert (Palm Desert, California). Transferred to Armstrong State University (Savannah, Georgia) before transferring to Young Harris College (Young Harris, Georgia), where he graduated.

In his senior year, was the 2018 Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year.

Won the 2015 World Stars of Junior Golf in Las Vegas by six shots. Shot rounds of 72-70-70 to defeat Kyle Pollema.
