Has a very supportive family, including his mom, dad, older brother (by nine years) and sister (by six years).
Is close friends of fellow competitors Patrick Flavin and Nick Hardy.
Started playing golf seriously when he was age eight. His first time holding a club was when he was a toddler. His dad saw his potential when he broke a living-room window with the club.
Earliest golf memory was hitting yellow range balls at Des Plaines Golf Center in Illinois in front of his dad and his friends and being told his swing was already prettier than his dad's.
Best memory as a golf fan was watching his friends Nick Hardy and Patrick Flavin in contention on Sunday at the Korn Ferry Evans Scholar Invitational. Had feeling of jealousy but also attainability, that he would be able to join them.
Is an uncle to his niece, Leia, and his dinosaur-loving nephew, Luca.
