Graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University.

Selected as varsity golf co-captain his senior year of high school and claimed two 4A State Championships, as well as earning first-team All-State status twice.

While playing for North Carolina State, was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic team three times, from 2017-2019.

Won the 2018 North Carolina Amateur, opening with a 64 and closing with a 66 to win by a whopping 13 strokes over Brandon Einstein. His 19-under 269 tied the tournament 72-hole scoring record, and his margin of victory established a new mark.
