Has a twin sister (Gabrielle), who is an author and is studying at Columbia University. She is older by one minute. There are two sets of twins in his family—Ciara and Cedric, Ciara also older by one minute.

Brother was an all-state golfer in high school and was the individual Indiana state champion.

Grandfather, Francis McAree, introduced and taught him the game.

Caddied for friend Blake Kennedy at the 2022 Valspar Championship. Kennedy went on to finish 72nd.

Is the second-oldest of five children in his family.

Was a three-time All-American at the University of Indianapolis, where he won nine college tournaments.

Final college victory came at the 2018 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship. Began the final round five shots off the pace but shot a blistering 66 to coast to a three-shot win over Joey Williams. It was his second GLVC Championship in three seasons.
