Has been 6 feet 6 since ninth grade. Was heavily into basketball throughout high school.

Early golf memory is watching Tiger Woods and Steve Elkington tee off on the 11th hole at Aronimink GC and thinking, "Wow, there is a big difference there!"

Attended Kent State for a year before transferring to Penn State.

While still at Penn State, won the 2017 Pennsylvania Amateur at White Manor CC in Malvern, defeating teammate Cole Miller and Christopher Ault by five strokes.
