Was a member of the winning 2015 Washington State baseball team. Pitched through high school.

Played in the 2009 Little League World Series.

Began seriously playing golf at age 16.

A 2019 Academic All-Pac 12 team member.

His brother is a professional musician.

Loves to ski but doesn't “do it right now because of my golf career. I hope to pick it up again when I have more job security.”

Plays the guitar and has written more than 30 songs. Says he enjoys doing a lot of different things off the course because “it keeps my passion for golf going.”

Grandma offered to buy him a set of irons if he tried out for the high school golf team during his sophomore year. “It sounded like a great deal to me, so I went and tried out.” Shot 86-85, his two lowest rounds at that point, and he made the team.

Best golf-watching memory came at the Genesis Open against the gallery rope line and watching Dustin Johnson hit a drive. “I was awed by how much power and speed he had.”
