Originally thought he was going to pursue a career in basketball rather than golf, playing high-level AAU ball in high school. His perspective changed when he realized the longevity golf provides.

If he weren't playing golf, he would be coaching basketball.

Arizona is his favorite place to visit, that's where most of his extended family lives.

Named to the Heartland Conference All-Tournament team playing for the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. Won the 2018 Territory Classic in a sudden-death playoff.
