Brother, Jared, is a pro baseball player. Previously played in the Minnesota Twins' organization. Now plays in the Mexican League, for the Tigres de Quintana Roo. He also played for the Wei Chuan Dragons in Chinese Taipei and represented Team Puerto Rico in the 2020 Caribbean Series.

Named 2014 Orange County Register Golfer of the Year.

Was the 2019 Big West Conference individual champion while also earning first-team All-Big West honors.
