His father, Olufemi, was a former Lagos, Nigeria, deputy governor. His mother, Jumoke, is a Lagos high court judge.

Represented his native Nigeria at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.

Won twice on the International Junior Golf Tour and owns four victories on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.

Won the 2013 Veritas World Junior in the Boys 17 age group, defeating Chinese Taipei’s Hanting Chiu by four shots at Tustin Ranch GC.
