Mother, Cindy, was an Olympic athlete in karate.

Father, Jason, played golf at the University of Northern Colorado.

Has a dog named Seve.

Says if it weren't for golf, he would fly fish every day.

Caddied for former University of Utah teammate Mitchell Schow when Schow won the 2020 Utah State Amateur at Jeremy Ranch Country Club.

Two of his favorite golf memories are getting a ball from Rickie Fowler in Las Vegas his rookie year, and watching Rory McIlroy drive No. 1 green at Cherry Hills during the 2014 BMW Championship.

Amateur Highlights

Started his college career at Colorado State University before transferring to the University of Utah.

His three collegiate regular season titles are the most by any University of Utah player in the history of the program.

Led the Utes with a 71.1 stroke average his senior year.

Won the 2018 Colorado Amateur by two strokes at Pinehurst CC in Denver.

Won three amateur titles in 2018. Captured the Colorado Amateur at Pinehurst CC, shooting a final-round 67 to defeat Coby Welch by two shots. Followed that win by capturing the collegiate event, the Showdown in the Rockies, in Driggs, Idaho, beating David Laskin by two strokes. Final college win was a co-champion affair, sharing top honors at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invite in Boulder with Trevor Olkowski. Won the Mark Simpson title for a second consecutive season, first winning in 2017 by two shots over Spencer Painton. Began the final round three shots behind Painton but rolled to the title with an 8-under 64.
