One of his favorite memories from childhood was when he started playing competitively at age 12, traveling with friends to events outside of Bolivia. “It's a great memory of my first few steps in golf.“

Was the Big East Conference Freshman of the Year (2015).

Was a member of the 2015 and 2016 Ping All-Midwest Region team. Also earned 2016 All-Big East first-team honors.

Was a member of the 2015 and 2016 Big East All-Academic teams.

Reached as high as No. 121 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking

Won the 2014 Firestone Invitational, the 2015 NYX Hoosier Invitational and the 2016 Elon Phoenix Invitational.
