Took a five-stroke, 54-hole lead at the 2018 Palmetto Amateur, thanks to a third-round 62 at Palmetto GC. Struggled on the final day, shooting a 1-over 73, but held off a hard-charging Trace Crowe (66) and Tripp French (69) to win by a shot.

Was an All-Southern Conference first-team selection in both his sophomore and senior years at UNC-Greensboro.
