Graduated first in his class at Indiana University.

Considers it bad luck to have superstitions.

Early golf memories include his father hitting 300-yard drives in the early 1990s, which at the time was no easy feat.

In 2014, stepped away from playing the game competitively and took a job as an investment banker in California. Says during that time he only played five rounds of golf.

If not a professional golfer, would be an investment banker.

Ate competitively while in college. Among his food challenges were fried rice, steak, hamburgers, pancakes and chicken wings. He is listed on three eating walls of fame in Indiana and New Jersey: Bub's Burgers, Asuka and Country Pancakes. Ate a four-pound cheeseburger with 12 strips of bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and a full plate of onion rings in under an hour. Says to this day, "I am sick of onion rings."

His father and grandfather taught him the game.

Quit golf for four years to work in investment banking.

Majored in finance in college and graduated with a 4.0 grade-point average. Was only in college for three-and-a-half years to "get a jump start on my golf career." He had a conflict with his commencement ceremony and was unable to give the valedictorian's speech.

Named an Academic All-American.
