Stumbled out of the gate at The Club at Weston Hills in Florida in mid-February, shooting a 2-over 74. Bounced back with a 69-70 next 36 holes, setting up his closing, best-of-the-tournament-tying 66 that left him alone in second place, five shots behind medalist Alex Herrmann. The finish earned him PGA TOUR Canada status for the first half of the season.
