Four Canadians added their names to the field at the RBC Canadian Open after successfully Monday qualifying. The list includes two players who were playing college golf earlier this year, as well as a college golf coach. All four will be making their PGA TOUR debut in a field that includes Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas and Matt Kuchar.
JAMES ALLENBY

Hometown: Surrey, British Columbia, Canada
Alma mater: Oregon State

Notes: Finished second in this year’s Canada Life Open on the Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada. … Was his best career finish in 71 starts on that circuit. … Has nine top-10s on PGA TOUR Canada. … Is No. 1,181 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
THOMAS DeMARCO

Alma mater: Northern Illinois

Notes: Completed his college career at Northern Illinois earlier this year. … Was a two-time Academic All-MAC selection. … Had a 73.1 scoring average as a senior. … His best finish was fifth at the Badger Invitational, where he shot 5-under 211. … Has made one start on PGA TOUR Canada, missing the cut in last year’s Windsor Championship.
