Following Marc Leishman's five-shot win at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia, the PGA TOUR's Asia Swing proceeds to this week's THE CJ CUP @ NINE BRIDGES on Jeju Island, South Korea, where Justin Thomas aims to defend his 2017 title. Thomas, a nine-time PGA TOUR winner, opened last year's inaugural event with a 9-under 63, ultimately outlasting Leishman in a playoff when both players finished 72 holes at 9-under.
The field also features reigning Web.com Tour money winner Sungjae Im, who grew up playing The Club at Nine Bridges, and rising India-born star Shubhankar Sharma, who eyes TOUR membership and points toward a 2019 Presidents Cup appearance.
