Matt Kuchar followed up his strong opening round with another 64 to take a 2-stroke lead at the Mayakoba Golf Classic through 36 holes. Cameron Champ made the biggest move on Friday with a 62 in the morning wave to grab solo second as he looks for another win in his rookie season. Patton Kizzire shot 66 and is tied for third in his title defense.
