Mastercard Club brings Topgolf Crush to PGA TOUR event in Paramus
The world’s best golfers won’t be the only ones taking swings when the PGA TOUR comes to Bergen County for THE NORTHERN TRUST, the kick-off to the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs.
THE NORTHERN TRUST, played at The Ridgewood Country Club August 21-26, is just the second PGA TOUR event to feature Topgolf Crush. The interactive, points-based competition has taken stadiums and arenas across the country by storm since launching in 2017.
New this year, Mastercard cardholders will have a chance to channel their inner-Justin Rose at the Mastercard Club located near the 17th green through an interactive Topgolf Crush experience, free of charge. Mastercard cardholders simply show their Mastercard to gain access to the interactive driving range experience where they will be able to measure how far they hit their shots from certain targets, with the goal of earning as many points as possible.

In addition to the Mastercard Club, Mastercard cardholders receive unique benefits including a 10 percent discount on all tickets, concessions and merchandise when paying with their Mastercard. The Topgolf Crush competition is just one of many on-site interactive experiences for fans at THE NORTHERN TRUST. Others include all of the following open-to-the-public venues:
· The First Tee Experience: This immersive, 3,500-square-foot, air-conditioned venue located along the 17th fairway will feature The First Tee mini-golf challenge, an interactive Nine Core Values golf tee wall, a virtual reality gaming area, The First Tee golf simulator, The First Tee ball pit, arts & crafts activities, digital photo booths and a one-of-a-kind art installation. The First Tee Experience will also feature a recharge lounge for adults to watch the live feed of the tournament.
· Garden State Marketplace: This primary gathering area is open to all ticket holders along the 17th fairway and features a collection of signature food offerings from notable restaurants. Fan favorites Fuku and Luke’s Lobster will be returning, and newcomers Shake Shack and Bergen County hot spot Sanducci’s Trattoria will be making their debuts at this year’s event.
· The Expo at Garden State Marketplace: Fans can take a few swings in MD Anderson’s or United Airlines’ golf simulators, play a chipping and putting game in the GEICO tent, sample Coca-Cola products, sign up for Tackle Kids Cancer’s “Birdies to Benefit Tackle Kids Cancer” program and enter for a chance to win prizes at Myrbetriq’s tent, among other fun activities.
