Bupa Match Play: Qualified for the tournament in Riviera Maya, Mexico, losing as the 45th seed in the 64-player field, in 21 holes, to Tommy Cocha.

59 Abierto Mexicano de Golf: Collected his first top-10 of the season with a T10 at the 59th Abierto Mexicano, carding four rounds in the 60s at Tijuana CC.

PTLA Qualifying Tournament-Mexico: Secured exempt status for the first half of the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica season as runner-up at Q-School in Mazatlán.
2017 Season
Joined the Mackenzie Tour with a T12 finish at Q-School in San Jacinto, California. Made the cut in four of 11 starts to finish the year ranked 103th on the Order of Merit, including one top-25.
Amateur Highlights
- Played college golf at San Diego State. Was a two-time All Mountain West Conference selection and the conference's Player of the Year in 2016. Earned second-team Ping All-American honors in 2016 and was a Ping All-West Region honoree.
- Lost the 50th annual Pacific Coast Amateur in 2016, losing to Will Zalatoris on the second sudden-death playoff hole at Seattle GC.
- Represented the U.S. at the Palmer Cup in Formby, England, one of 10 players on the U.S. team.
- Won the 2014 San Diego City Amateur Championship, recording a 6-under score to win by two shots.
