Learned the game of golf from his dad, who passed away December 2nd, 2017 after a battle with cancer. Caleb was a senior in high school at the time of his father's passing. Caleb says of his dad, "He taught me more than just golf, but also to be the man I am today, and I know how proud he is watching down on me every time I compete. I am so fortunate to have had the time I did have with him."

Participated in College Golf Fellowship throughout his five seasons at University of Texas-Arlington; he attended three retreats hosted by Scottie Scheffler.

Learned how to ride a bike without training wheels by age 2, and raced BMX bikes until about age 12; he still regularly rides his BMX and mountain bikes, as it is one of his favorite things to do away from golf.

Huge fan of the Texas Rangers (MLB), Dallas Stars (NHL), and Dallas Cowboys (NFL).
