Grew up across the street from a nine-hole course, where he would play every day during his growing-up years. Many family members played, including grandparents, dad, uncle and brother.

Earliest memory is hitting a golf ball through his kitchen window when he was age five.

Even with his early love of golf, almost chose to pursue baseball for a career instead.

At the 2017 U.S. Amateur sectional qualifier at Dacotah Ridge GC, finished in third place, at 3-under par, gaining one of three spots available for the U.S. Amateur at Riviera CC, in Pacific Palisades, California.
