Admits fitness plays a "huge part in my golf game. "

His grandpa started him in golf, taking him a par-3 course near his house. "He would toss me in the bunker with a 7-iron, and that is how I learned to hit bunker shots. I definitely would not be where I am now without him."

Says his earliest golf memory is from attending a golf/tennis/swimming camp at his grandfather's country club, One of the counselors offered quarters to campers every time one successfully hit the range-picker cart. "I walked away with $4 in quarters."

"It looks weird, but I check my alignment before every shot by looking at my back foot," he says.

Won a pair of 2021 college tournaments, capturing the Big South Conference Championship individual title in April in Ninety Six, South Carolina. Edged Brandon Weaver and Hunter Dncan by two shots. A month earlier, at the Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wallace, North Carolina, defeated Drew Hackett by two shots.
