His father has been a member of the PGA of America for more than 30 years and is a golf professional at Tanglewood GC in South Lyon, Michigan.

His dad started him in golf when he was in elementary school.

Favorite golf memory is watching Tiger Woods win the Buick Open at Warwick Hills the last time the event was held.
