Father, Jim, played college basketball at Buffalo State College.

Was a four-year honor-roll student at Needham High School.

Served as a volunteer camp counselor at Needham Project VAN, an organization the provides youth entering grades 8-12 the opportunity to participate in one-day community service projects in Needham, Mass.

Was an accomplished Little League Baseball player, playing for the Needham team that just missed qualifying for the Little League World Series.

Is allergic to nearly all fruits and vegetables.

Earliest golf memory is trying to hit the ball over the hazard at Ocean Edge in Cape Cod when he was three.

Amateur Highlights

At the 2018 NCAA quarterfinals, faced off against Texas' Doug Ghim in a match that went down to the wire. On the final hole, drilled a 25-foot eagle putt to claim the match and send the Blue Devils to the semifinals.

Named a 2017 Srixon/Cleveland All-American Scholar and an All-ACC Academic first-team member. During the 2016-17 season had a scoring average of 72.64 over the span of 39 rounds.

Finished T2 at the 2015 Canadian Men's Amateur Championship after a 6-under total at the four-day event.

Set the course record at Taconic GC in 2016 when he shot a first-round 64 (seven birdies, no bogeys) at the Massachusetts Amateur Championship.

At the 2014 Massachusetts Amateur Championship at Kernwood CC in Salem, Mass., made it to the semifinals of the event, losing to Doug Clapp, 2 and 1.

Was a two-time Massachusetts state champion in high school.

Was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic honor roll in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Named an Academic All-American in 2017 and 2018.
