Battled back from a blood clot in 2016 on the first day of PGA Professional Championship. Went on to win the event three years later.

Used to ref broom ball and valet park cars in college to make money to play.

When he was young, he moved onto a golf course by pure chance. Could sneak out, and often get kicked off the course, trying to play at night, until they finally offered him a job so he could play legitimately.

Earliest golf memory is attending the 2008 PGA Championship at Hazeltine, which was his first time up close to the pros.

Some days he can play better right-handed instead of left-handed.

Enjoys fishing, working out, cooking and traveling. He recently started playing guitar and hopes to be pretty good at it one day.
