Says one of his greatest moments in golf was winning the 2017 British Amateur and loving the feeling of having a five-foot putt to win on the 38th hole at Royal St. George’s.

Won the 2012 English Amateur, becoming, at age 16, the youngest winner of the tournament, beating the previous mark held by Nick Faldo.

Won the 2017 Amateur Championship, giving him a unique distinction with two others—Michael Bonallack and Michael Lunt—as the players who have won both The Amateur Championship and the English Amateur. Delivered a stunning comeback to defeat Australian Dylan Perry, winning on the second sudden-death hole after facing a 4-down deficit with five holes to play.

By virtue of his Amateur Championship victory, played in the 2017 Open Championship and the 2018 Masters Tournament, the Memorial Tournament and the U.S. Open. Missed the cut in all four.

At the 2018 Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate Championship, shot rounds of 69-67-69 to capture co-championship honors in the individual portion with teammate Jamie Li.

Earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference first-team honors.
