Earliest golf memory is shooting 116 and swinging at his golf ball six times because it was stuck in a bush in his first event.

Hobbies include hunting and fishing.

Younger sister, Abby, played softball at Arizona State for two years and transferred to Nicholls State University ahead of the 2023 season with two years of eligibility remaining.

Amateur Highlights

Played five seasons at Arizona State University (2017-22), where he earned medalist honors twice and garnered a 2022 All-America Third Team selection; he also earned All-Pac 12 Conference recognition three times, with first-team nods in 2019 and 2022, and a second-team selection in 2021.

Helped Arizona State reach match play at the 2021 and 2022 NCAA Championships; he went 3-0 in match play in 2022 as Arizona State lost to Texas in the title match, defeating Oklahoma's Patrick Welch in the quarterfinals, Pepperdine's Dylan Menante in the semifinals, and Texas' Cole Hammer in the final. In 2021, he defeated North Carolina's Ryan Gerard in the quarterfinals but lost to Oklahoma's Logan McAllister in the semifinals as Oklahoma defeated the Sun Devils.
