Won the 2015 U.S. Junior Amateur at Colleton River Plantation Club’s Dye Course in South Carolina. Was 5-down to Andrew Orischak with eight holes remaining in the duo's 36-hole championship final. Caught Orischak at the end of regulation then beat him on the first extra hole, 1-up.

Was the 2015 AJGA Rolex Junior Player of the Year and a first-team Rolex Junior All-American. That same year, named Shreveport Times Sportsperson of the Year.
