Favorite place to visit is Lake Tahoe.

Grew up in a town of 2,000 people.

Comes from a family of accomplished golfers. Sisters Lindsay and Casey each won four individual state golf championships. Lindsay went on to play at the University of Wisconsin, while Casey played golf at Stanford University.

Knee was surgically repaired twice while in middle school. The knee bothered him again in December 2017, forcing him into a third surgery–a procedure that forced him to miss the 2018 season.

Was a two-time Wisconsin State champion.

Was a four-time All-American at the University of Illinois (only player in program history to be four-time All American). Was named the 2016 Big-10 Conference Player of the Year.
