Amateur Highlights

Finished one stroke back of the all-time scoring record during the stroke-play portion of the 2016 U.S. Amateur, capturing medalist honors by shooting 65-68. Defeated Dawson Armstrong and Gavin Hall by a shot. Lost in the match play round of 32 to Dylan Meyer.

Member of both the 2019 U.S. Arnold Palmer Cup team and the Walker Cup team, registering a 3-1-0 record in each event. His Walker Cup participation made him only the second Blue Devil in history to play in the tournament (Dick Siderowf: 1969, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1979).

Two-time winner of the Sunnehanna Amateur Championship, in 2018 and 2019, defeating Quade Cummins and Garett Reband, respectively.

Was a four-year letterman at Duke. Was a Ping and Golfweek second-team All-American selection in 2019. Was also the 2019 Duke Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Made his PGA TOUR debut, qualifying for the 2017 U.S. Open at Erin Hills, shooting 7-under par in the 36-hole qualifier. Went on to miss the cut.
