Put his career on hold for six months in 2015 to caddie for his wife, Brooke, who is a professional golfer on the LPGA Tour.

Graduated from UT Chattanooga with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2010.

Attended Soddy Daisy HS, where he was named All-District in basketball three times scoring 1,358 career points and All-District and All-Region in baseball as a senior.

Has one brother, David.

Played college golf at UT Chattanooga.

Won the Tennessee Open in 2007 and the Tennessee Amateur Championship in 2008.
