Amateur Highlights
At Mayakoba GC’s El Camaleon Course, missed on a Masters Tournament invite when he finished second to Argentina’s Abel Gallegos Caputo at the 2020 Latin America Amateur.
Won back-to-back college tournaments in 2018, sharing first-place honors at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with Mike McGilton. The following week, also in Las Cruces, bot the better of McGilton, winning the Pepsi Cola Classic by a whopping 10 strokes after trailing the 54-hole tournament by two shots after the first round. Fired rounds of 65-67 for the runaway win.
Won his first college tournament, the 2017 High Country Shootout, beating Switzerland’s Michael Weppernig by a shot in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
Also won the 2016 Mexican Golf Federation-sponsored International Amateur Championship – Mexico, finishing regulation at Yucatan CC tied with Chile’s Claudio Correa and going on to deveat Correa in sudden-death.
