Son of 21-time PGA TOUR winner Davis Love III and grandson of former PGA TOUR player Davis Love, Jr.

Father has won 21 PGA TOUR events, including the 1997 PGA Championship. He was the captain of the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 2012 and 2016 and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2017.

Is involved in the St. Simons community and hopes to make an impact there.

Loves country music.

Grandfather was a career PGA of America professional who made 56 career PGA TOUR cuts and played one full season on TOUR, in 1959. He tragically died in a private-plane crash near Jacksonville, Fla., in 1988.

Amateur Highlights

Was a member of the two-time NCAA Championship team at Alabama. Played on teams that included Justin Thomas, Trey Mullinax and Robby Shelton, among others.

Won one college tournament during his career, the 2015 Puerto Rico Collegiate. Made a 15-foot birdie putt on the tournament's final hole to share medalist honors with Virginia Tech's Scott Vincent.

Also won the 2015 Georgia Amateur in a five-hole playoff at the Seaside Course at Sea Island GC against current Mackenzie Tour player Greyson Sigg and Sean Elliott. On the fifth extra hole, he made birdie on the course’s first hole, something Sigg and Elliott couldn’t match.

Had the unusual experience of winning five high school state championships at Frederica Academy in St. Simons Island, Ga., being part of the team as an eighth-grader, in 2008. Was a three-time team MVP (2009, 2011 and 2012). Also played high school basketball, leading the Knights to one state championship.
