Finished No. 59 in the FedExCup Fall standings after qualifying for the FedExCup Playoffs for the second consecutive year. Made 14 cuts in 19 starts and recorded two top-10s, highlighted by a victory at the Texas Children’s Houston Open.
Texas Children's Houston Open
Won the Texas Children's Houston Open, earning his first PGA TOUR victory in his 56th start at the age 26 years, 8 months, 3 days. Converted first career 54-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR into one-stroke victory over Gary Woodland and Scottie Scheffler. Won in his tournament debut, becoming the first player since Paul Casey (2009) to win in his first start at the event. Became the fifth first-time winner of the season and 17th first-time winner in tournament history. Became the 38th Australian to win on TOUR and second of the season (Karl Vilips/Puerto Rico Open). Moved to No. 22 in the Official World Golf Ranking, his first time inside the top 25 in his career.
