Graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in business administration in 2009.

Loves to do charity work at home in Guatemala. Has a foundation with his sister that has helps 1,500 children every Christmas.

Not many people know that he once parachuted.

Bucket list includes swimming with sharks.

Having the opportunity to compete across 23 countries has been his biggest thrill in golf.

Amateur Highlights

Played one season at Midland Lutheran College in Nebraska (2005-06) before he transferred to University of New Orleans for three seasons (2006-09), winning medalist honors at two events and garnering All-Sun Belt Conference selections in 2007 and 2008.

Won the 2009 Central American Amateur Championship.

Four-time Guatemala Junior Championship winner with titles in 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2004; he also won the 2004 Guatemala Open.
